Bento #036: Homemade Burritos and Sapporo’s Famous Chikuwa Bread

 Trying something a bit different with tortillas and a local favorite from my hometown.

🍱 Today's JK Bento Menu

  • Two Types of Burritos:

    • Teriyaki chicken with boiled egg and Komatsuna mayo.

    • Miso-marinated pork with shredded cabbage.

  • Chikuwa Bread: (Chikuwa Pan).

  • Instant Onion Soup.

👨‍🍳 Dad's Comment

I made burritos using tortillas I bought yesterday. The Teriyaki one is very filling! I also made Chikuwa Pan, which is a very popular snack bread in Sapporo. It’s bread topped with Chikuwa (fish cake) filled with tuna mayo. I baked it last night for today's lunch.
